Debbie Wasserman Schultz deserves to be on my Florida liars list.  I decided almost six years ago that Diane Baccus-Horsley also deserved to be on the list.

Judge Roberts accepted her erroneous rhetorical narrative rather than my lawyer's closing.  I have learned to bee suspicious of anyone who sounds like they were coached by Gloria Alredd or her daughter Lisa Bloom.

Questions at a Presidential News Conference were short.

The New Narrative

Charity begins at home; take care of yourself first.  Democrats lie.

The old narrative was that when the media identified a problem the Federal Government should/would solve it for us.

Note to Chris Christy:  Richard Feynman said that an honest politician can't be elected.  We know that New York and Maryland politicians are crooked.  Feynman didn't specifically address a politician who tried to have someone else lie for him.

If a Federal Government shutdown presents a problem, the Federal Government is too large.  A commentator on TV earlier tonight said that James Madison was turning over in his grave.

We now realize that Postmodernism is not the answer.  We do know lots of narratives that the lawyers and Democrats have been expounding.  #WOW, #VAWA, Gruberspeak

Milton Friedman was right about a lot of things.  If you want a really big screw up, you have to get the government involved.  The Keynesians tried to negate his most obvious argument (timing).

Florida Gov. Rick Scott Vetoes Family Law Reform

I watched the hearings for SB 718 and the companion bill in the Florida House.  There was very moving testimony about how a mother had achieved independence.

Government Rick Scott needs to be more pro-Family and less pro-Florida Family Law Bar Section.

They Forget About Human Nature

As I was growing up on a farm in southwest Missouri, I would discuss the issues of the day with my mother. About the time I was in the 6th grade, Canada adopted “socialized medicine.” It seemed like the Christian thing to do to me.

My parents would always comment, “They forget about human nature.”
At that time, I was a Christian and trying to live a good life (most of the time). Human nature didn’t seem that bad to me.

I now see what they meant. It is human nature to feel entitled to entitlements.
